Kobe: Under-rated Japan treasure

Many people start with Tokyo when they come to visit Japan, and often trek to the other side of the country to check out the ancient temples and way of life in Kyoto.

Just about 45 minutes away by train is Kobe, one of Japan’s top 10 cities, an often overlooked gem with stunning mountain views, a European flair due to the international port, Kobe Beef and more bakeries than anyone would ever expect to find in the land of Sushi.
